Property prices have been falling in the capital and rising in other parts of the UK, a result of investors directing funds to more “safer” capital growth and returns areas.
This trend will be short lived. Investment in other areas will slow and prices in London should start to recover modestly post Brexit, but only when we have more certainty in the future long-term UK direction.
Globally there are surplus cash funds sitting in accounts and corporates and investors still see the UK as a haven in comparison to other countries.
So, best to sit tight and hold onto cash at present until we see a bottoming on the house price corrections.
